Following an intensive three months, our Managing Director, Ben Davies has become an Alumni of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business (GS10KSB) programme. The programme is delivered by the Oxford Said Business School on behalf of Goldman Sachs.
The programme follows the principles of a MBA, in which Goldman Sachs specifically look for the top performing small businesses within the United Kingdom to become alumni. As part of the robust application process, Oander have to demonstrate our continued and strong growth, which is the backbone to the UK economy, and which ultimately supports and increases employment prospects.
As part of Cohort 11, Ben, along with 70 other businesses took part in this programme, culminating in a new Business Growth Plan for Oander, which outlines the Oander business vision, target growth and opportunities.
Ben explained the process consisting of being “placed into smaller, growth groups, which whilst we finished the programme in December, we continue to meet up and challenge each other to ensure we maintain our projected growth. I would like to extent my thanks to my growth group with Joanna Simpson from Simpson Studios; Tim Forber from Knitted Meshwire; Andy Shepard from Omicron Solutions; Nick Baxter from Baxter Williams and Charlotte Blant from Youthforce. Plus, I cannot forget Davo Ruthven-Stuart, our business growth expert.”
Ben further went on to say “if you run a small to medium business, which is looking to grow, I cannot recommend the programme enough and would encourage you that the hard work will repeat many a reward”.
