Oander are pleased to complete the handover of the staff accommodation areas at the Chertsey Make Ready Centre on behalf of SouthEast Coast Ambulance Service (SECAMB).
The work which was delivered through a very tight programme in order to bring the centre back to operational use for the ambulance crews after flood damage last year became more challenging due to the identification of asbestos materials requiring removals and not factored into the original programme of works.
The scope of work included structural alterations to create an enlarged kitchen / breakout area for staff, a remodelled entrance / reception area, new meeting room / office space and new locker / changing room areas, new external windows / fire doors and interconnection of the building services including fire alarm / CCTV / door entry and IT installations which are now complete and operational.
The project has been delivered working in close collaboration with the SECAmb estates managers and operational team representatives.
Oander are pleased with the project outcome and hope the ops team on site will be happy with their new facilities. We look forward to working with SECAmb again on future projects in the near future.
The Project Team
We would like to take the opportunity to thank the project team and the wider supply chain in mobilising and delivering the works within such a short time span.
