London Fire Brigade (LFB) have appointed multi-disciplinary consultant, Oander to support and lead their Decarbonisation Programme across ten stations within the Capital.
As Programme Managers, Oander will be responsible for the overall delivery of this portfolio of works, including; surveys, designs, statutory approvals, procurement, stakeholder engagement and implementation / construction.
This is a two-year programme which will see Oander work closely with the LFB to deliver carbon reduction improvements which include:
- Air Source Heat Pumps
- Cavity Wall Insulation
- Photovoltaic (PV)
- Cavity Wall Insulation
- LED Lighting
- Removal of Gas Fuelled Equipment
Oander’s Managing Director, Ben Davies said “we are delighted to be working with London Fire Brigade in delivering this Decarbonisation Programme. The appointment was procured via the NHS SBS Shared Business Services Framework, which is a great route for public organisations to procure the necessary expertise to help in starting their decarbonation journey.
